During her internship, Dr. Daly developed a strong Sport Horse Medicine background working closely with local and national award winning Morgans, Quarter Horses, Arabians as well as Dressage and Hunter/Jumper horses. Prior to graduating from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, Dr. Daly worked as a technician at Hagyard Equine Medical Institute (www.hagyard.com) in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Daly’s areas of interest include lameness, corrective dentistry, nutrition and wellness program development.
Dr. Daly began her lifelong devotion to the equine species as a young child and continued to ride Hunters throughout her college career. She now spends her time training as distance runner, successfully competing in 4 half marathons (13.1 miles). Dr. Daly and her family (residents of Waldoboro, Maine) are the happy owners of 2 dogs and 5 cats.
